Fun Stampers Journey Create a Pocket Letter with Cindy's Creative Journey

Yesterday on my Facebook Live Monday video, I tried my hand at creating a Pocket Letter.  I had never created a Pocket Letter before, so there where learning curves, like don't use washi tape as a hinge... other then that, it went pretty smooth.

 

 

Pocket letters are used by planner girls to send happy mail stuffed with all kinds of planner goodies like stickers, washi tape and paper clips.  As a card maker or scrapbooker, you could use it to send card candy, embellishments or even as a mini scrapbook.... and bonus, Fun Stampers Journey now has the new Envelo-Box die  you can mail this loaded Pocket Letter in!

 

Check out that cute little silver heart on the front- it's from the Heart Foils sticker pack that's on sale for $2.21 until March 31. 2018.

 

Once you open the card, you find a cute envelope, and 2 more pockets you can load with goodies.  I only put a few things in them, but they are ready to be filled with fun things.

Fun Stampers Journey Summer Garden Color Play Date with Cindy's Creative Journey

Hi Guys! 

Yesterday was Thursday, so that means it was Color Play Date day!  I featured the Summer Garden stamp set and Journey Color Burst Pencils in my coloring process.  I colored the smaller rose image in 3 different color schemes, a yellow rose, a peace rose and a pink rose.

 

For the yellow rose, I used pencils 16 and 17.  For the peace rose, I used pencils 17,8, and 10.  For the pink rose, I used pencil 5.  If you missed the live video, I have uploaded it to YouTube.

Fun Stampers Journey Coffee Bar Canvas

Fun Stampers Journey Z-fold card by Cindy's Creative Journey

Hi Guys!

 

Happy first day of Spring!  Yesterday on my Facebook page, I did a live video on how to make a  Z-fold card.

 

 

To tell you the truth, this was the first time I actually had made a Z-fold card and it was super easy! 

 

I started with Rich Coral cardstock cut to 8-1/2 x 5-1/2.  You will need to score it at 4-1/4 and 2-1/8.  The strip of Beach Ball cardstock is 1 x 8-1/2.  You score this strip at 4-1/4 and 2-1/8 also.  Your pattern paper layers are cut to 1-7/8 x 5-1/4, and 4 x 5-1/4.

 

Here is a link to all of the stamps and patterned paper I used to create this card.  Make sure if you want the Yay stamp set or the patterned paper, you order it before March 30 when it retires.

Noel Wreath

Beach Soiree

Hello Creative Friends.

Today's card is a nautical card that can be used for any occasion.  Some might even call it a masculine card...:)  I designed it with retired paper and scraps, so in other words, I was clearing off my desk!

Holiday Sparkle card

Hello Creative friends!

Today I wanted to share a card I created for my Wednesday cards group.  I used the Holiday Sparkle Bundle for the focal point.  The Holiday Sparkle set is the same set I used last week for the Holly watercolor card.  This set also has a super cutie patootie Candy Cane that I plan on using for my Christmas Cards this year.  If you  love this set as much as I do, make sure you order it before the end of September, because after that, it is gone.

Don't you just love all the bling in it?  FSJ's Brushed Silver cardstock is to die for!  and don't get me started on our sequin trim... Love it, want it, got to have it!
