Hello Creative Friends.

I spent a few hours in my craft room over the weekend and made another Card Candy project!  This time I pulled out some of my retired scraps and created these stinking cute Snowflake embellishments.

Wouldn't they be perfect on a scrapbook page? or in your planner?

I could also see them being used for gift wrapping embellishments!  It's a good thing I made a few sets of them, because I might have to keep one for my own gift giving this year.

Hello Creative Friends,

Have you heard about Card Candy or Itty Bitty's?  They are cute little embellishments that you can add to your cards, planners or scrapbook pages.  I participated in a swap this month and wanted to share what I had created.

There wasn't a theme for this month's swap so I decided that I wanted to focus on a Christmas theme.  I picked my colors, Kiwi Slice, Pomegranate Splash, and Gold.  Then I grabbed one of my favorite Fun Stampers Journey Christmas stamp sets, Holiday Sparkle and went to town!

I used a few other stamp sets along the way, because, you know... I needed that little something to fit right here!!  I will make sure I list all of the sets and other goodies below.

Designer Show Case Planner Projects Blog Hop

Hello Creative Friends and Welcome to the October Designer Showcase Planner Projects Blog Hop!

If you want to follow along in the blog hop, you will find a link below to go on to the next Coaches blog or Facebook page.  And at each link you will find a link to the next, so you can see all of our planner creations.

For my project today, I chose to share my planner layout for this week.  This planner is the Brushed Cool Pool Days A5 Planner.  I love the color and that there is plenty of room to jot down what I have scheduled and to also decorate the pages.

When I sit down on Sunday to plan my week and decorate my planner, I usually decide on a theme.  This week I wanted to use some of my brand new Simply Gold Journey washi tape and add a bit of fall into the mix.  Then I started pulling all my goodies out, and came up with the colors I wanted to use, Gold, Pool Play and Tangerine Fusion, isn't that a fun combo?!!

See those cute little triangles that I used for bullet points?  Washi tape!! and I colored them in with our Fun Stampers Journey Just Write Gel pens, which are to die for.  I just had to add the little tab so that I could use another new goodie- the Foiled Frames.  Yummy, right???

I hope my layout gives you some ideas on how to decorate your planner!

Products used in this Project:
Stamps:  Artsy Leaves Stamp Set Planner Elements Stamp Set *On Sale*
Pens and Pencils:  Just Write Gells *On Sale*, Journey Color Burst Pencils

Boo Treat Box

Hello Creative Friends.

Today I am sharing a quick project for Halloween treat giving!  I love to give treats to friends and people I run into during the day.

To create this box, I used a pillow box from Etsy, some Black Licorice ribbon and then I die cut a cute tag and the other shapes.  I told you it was fast and easy!!!  I used my Black Licorice ink pad to ink up the edges on the tag and Boo.  I also pulled out my dauber dowel to create the spider web effect on the background of the tag.  I used the edge of the dauber dowel to "draw" the spider web.  Add some Journey Glaze and Sparkle Dust and it's ready to go!!

Products used in this Project:
Cardstock:  River Stone Pillow Box, Pretty Amethyst
Ink:  Black Licorice, Silver Silk
Accessories:  Satin Black Licorice, Journey Black Twine, Special Celebration Sequins, Journey Glaze and Sparkle Dust
