Merry Everything Mixed Media with Cindy Bristow

Merry Everything Mixed Media
with Cindy Bristow

Howdy!

Today I want to share a mixed media canvas I made yesterday.

How stinking cute is this?  It's a mini  4 x 6 canvas that would be perfect for your desk at work.  I did a video on it over on my Facebook page, Cindy's Creative Journey, if you would like to create along side me.

I have listed all of the products I used below, so gather your supplies and get to making!

4 x 6 canvas board, paint brush

Watercolor Coffee Helps by Cindy Bristow

Watercolor Coffee Helps
by Cindy Bristow

Howdy!

You guys know how much I love my coffee, so today I am sharing a no-line watercolor card I did with the Coffee Helps stamp set.

I stamped the cup and the rings with Oatmeal Cookie ink so that the actually stamping fades once you start adding your Color Splash pencils.  I will be doing a live video on my Facebook page,  a little later in the day, so make sure you head on over to catch that for exactly how I water colored this card.  I also uploaded it to my YouTube Chanel

Here are the links to all products used in this card:

pencil numbers 5, 6, 25, 27, 31, 45, & 47

Finished card also available in my Etsy shop.

Thanks for stopping by,
Cindy

Fun Stampers Journey Small Things Mixed Media Tags

Hello Creative Friends.

I have been spending over on Facebook doing live videos every Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays at 11 am eastern time.

Today I featured the Small Things Bundle and several mixed media products.

I wanted to show you how to use retired patterned paper, or patterned paper you really didn't like to create a beautiful mixed media piece.  I started by gluing the paper to a chipboard tag and priming the surface with Journey Gesso

On this tag I used several different colors of Silk to include, Cool Pool Silk and Outrageous Pink Silk.  I then stamped the Thread Sketch Background stamp onto it.  The Silver is Foil applied directly to the tag.

On this tag I used different colors of Color Splash to include, Turbo Teal Splash and WaterMelon Fusion Splash.  I also stamped the Thread Sketch Background stamp onto it.  I used the Silver Foil to give my heart die cut some sparkle.

Make sure you head over to my Facebook page @ccreativejourney to catch a replay of the process.  If you don't want to get your fingers inky, these tags are also for sale in my Etsy store.
Thanks for stopping by,
Cindy
