Tea Time

Today I am sharing a card I made for a color challenge over at the Color Throwdown blog.   I used Fun Stampers Journey Sweet Pear, Rich Coral, and Journey Gold Embossing Powder with Clear Pigment ink.

I stamped the teapot and tea cup from the Tea Time set, SS 0080 with Clear Pigment ink and embossed it with Journey Gold embossing powder.  This was my first time using FSJ embossing powders, and I have to say "Wow!"  The fine details on my image came out very clear and detailed.  The sentiment is from the Branch Out set, SS-0140.

I Used Sweet Pear re inker, Rich Coral ink pad (I still need to complete my set of re inkers!), Oatmeal Cookie re inker(shading), River Stone re inker(shading) and Fusion Blender to color my Image.

I layered my Sweet Pear card base with a piece of Gold Striped vellum out of the Designer Vellum Prints paper pack.  The lace embellishment is from FSJ's Vintage Lace pack.  I felt that it needed a bit more gold for elegance so I used a thin gold ribbon from my stash.
