Summer Garden Birthday

Happy Friday everyone! 
Today I am sharing a Birthday card I made using the Summer Garden set.

I have had this set on my wish list for almost a year and finally brought it home!!!  Don't you just love using a new stamp set?!!!  Plus it was one I got to color! Best day ever!

I absolutely adore how it looks layered on the Ornate die with the pierced detailing. I think, no I know that the piercing dies are one of my all time favorite items that FSJ offers.  I even used the Rectangle piercing element on this card!

 

I created the patterned paper by inking up the Whimsey Wallpaper stamp with Lemongrass.   I added the Bloom Time sequins just to add that final touch and give it some sparkle!  I know that any Birthday girl would feel like a Princess when she received this Beautiful card!

In today's post I am sharing a vintage style card.  I have always loved to add distressing to cards, so when I saw the new Love Buds embellishments, I know exactly what I wanted to create with them!

I just love the Vintage Paris paper pack, so I don't know why I haven't used it more...and is pares so well with the Doily die!  Check out the Rhinestone button, be still my heart!!!  And the crochet flower.... what's not to love?!!!!

I think I might save this card for my 20th wedding aniversary this summer!!!

Birthday Bot

Hello Friends!
Last week I shared a Valentines card I made using FSJ's new Bot Love set out of the Spring Mini and today I wanted to share a birthday card I created with it.

I stamped and colored this cute little robot multiple times on my Whipped Cream cardstock.  Then I pulled out my Journey Rectangles dies and used two of the piercing dies to create some depth.  I am in love with our piercing dies, they add that little detail that make your cards pop!

I stamped Happy Birthday on Black Licorice cardstock with Clear Embossing ink and embossed it using white embossing powder.  Sprinkled a few Clear Sparkle Elements sequins around because every party needs some sparkle and layered it on a Black Licorice card base!
