Designer Showcase Blog Hop Christmas Tags

Hello Creative Friends!
Welcome to another Designer Showcase Blog Hop!  This month we are featuring our Christmas Tags.  Christmas is such a busy season for everyone, so I plan my Christmas baking in advance.  Once I choose the goodies, I design my treat tag.  So without further ado, here is the Bristow 2017 treat tag!
I always start with a base cut from the steel rule Tag Set die because you can cut 3 sheets of paper at a time!  This years base cardstock is Buttercream.  Then I chose to layer it with some Corrugated Stock that I had distressed with Buttercream ink.  Love the rustic look that it gave me.
My next step was to layer two pieces of washi tap from Candy Apple Journey Tape collection down at the bottom of the tag.  I sure hope this tape sticks around for the big catalog, but just in case I plan I putting in an order for it before Jan.1!  Using the Snow Blooms die, I cut 2 snowflakes from Whip Cream cardstock that was layered with White Liner sheets. Then I peeled of the backing and covered it with Sparkle Dust.  I Love how easy the White Liner sheets  make it to create glittery goodness from die cut shapes.
Now it was time to package up my homemade peanut brittle!  The Oatmeal Cookie bags from the Romance Treat Bags collection where perfect for this year's goodies.  All I needed to do was fill the bags, tie a few bows and my gifts where ready for family and friends.

Local Snowman Shelf sitter and Treat Box Class

Hello Creative Friends.
Today I am sharing a upcoming class I am teaching locally here in King George Virginia.  I decided to keep the projects in a winter theme.

The first project we will be making is a wooden snowman shelf sitter.  This guy is so stinking cute and the best part is that you can keep him up all winter long!

The next project is this festive box that is perfect for giving Christmas treats in.  It is made using the Advent Box that is on page 311 of the big catalog.  The boxes come 25 to a pack and are only $8.95!  What a deal!!!  Make sure you check out the links below to all of the products used in these projects.
