Pockets and Lockets Projects

Hello Creative Friends and Welcome to Designer's Showcase Blog Hop!

Our theme this month is Pockets and Lockets.
I chose to feature the Treat Box for my project.  These come in packs of 10 and are perfect for giving small gifts in.  I also love to use them for handing out cookies, which makes them perfect for the holiday season.
I started with a Cranberry Bliss circle cut with the Journey Circle die and then pierced with the coordinating piercing die.  I love that our basic shape dies come with matching piercing elements!  I then popped a smaller circle of Fresh Forest onto that.  Make sure if you are pre prepping your boxes, that you strategically place your pop dots so that you can slide your ribbon under that Fresh Forrest circle... go ahead, ask me how I know...

Then I layered a piece of the White Liner sheet onto a Oatmeal Cookie cardstock sheet and die cut it using the Holiday Elements Steel Rule die.  I love using our steel rule dies for large projects because you can cut up to 3 sheets of cardstock at a time!  After I cut the deer heads, I peeled off the White Liner sheet and covered the sticky side with Silver Shavings.  Be sure to burnish the Silver Shavings onto the sticky side, so that you don't loose any of that sparkly goodness!

Then all you need to do is place your gift in the box, slide some of that oh so yummy So Plaid ribbon around it , tie a bow and you have a fast and easy fabulous gift to give!
